Many of you may already know as we have posted about this on Instagram but for those of my friends who don’t know yet… we are expecting our second baby! We are absolutely over the moon to be welcoming another baby to our family. I am so excited to see what Lucas will be like as a big brother! If everything goes to plan, the baby will be with us in the beginning of summer. It will be a whole new experience as Lucas was born just before the beginning of winter.
To update you on where I am with my pregnancy, I put together a little questionnaire with the most common questions. I love reading back on my first pregnancy so I want to do it again this time. Lots of bump pictures coming up in the next couple of weeks – I have some catching up to do!
- How many weeks am I?
24 weeks.
2. How old was Lucas when I got pregnant?
He was 10 months old.
3. Were we trying for a baby?
Yes, we have decided a couple of months earlier that we would like to try for another baby. I will elaborate on this in a different post.
4. When is my due date?
The baby is due on the 15th May.
5. What will be the age gap between the kids be?
1 year and 7 months – yes, we will have 2 babies under 2!
6. Do we know if it’s a boy or a girl?
Yes, we’re having a little GIRL this time!
7. How has this pregnancy been for me?
Pretty much like my first one, I am very lucky to have had easy pregnancies so far. However, this time round my belly is huge compared to my first pregnancy. I’m 6 months pregnant, but my belly is as big as it was when I was 8 months pregnant with Lucas.
8. How’s the baby?
The baby is healthy, active and HUGE. I’m not sure if you remember, but I was induced with Lucas because he wasn’t growing fast enough and they were worried my placenta wasn’t feeding the baby as it should be. This girl is already one week ahead when it comes to her size! I don’t even want to think about the delivery if she ends up being massive and we still have months to go…
