Autumn usually means that we need to say goodbye to days in the sun, sipping cocktails outdoors, morning coffees on our terraces and dipping our feet in pools. However, there’s something so cosy about autumn that gets me excited. Yes, the gloomy weather is not something I look forward to but then there are the cosy knitted jumpers, drinking tea all day, every day, the leaves, the chilly afternoon walks and… autumn decor.
I love decorating the house, especially now that I am a stay at home mum. I’m still breastfeeding Luna and at times it can be a very lengthy and boring process. Recently I’ve been using this time to look for products I can buy this year. I love looking for decor inspo and I think it’s an opportunity to mix things up at home. I saved some of my favourites to share with those of you who don’t have the time to look or are just looking for inspo. These things are the ones I specifically picked for autumn, and a couple which are more Halloween-ish. Let me know what you liked best!
- Doormats – a lot of these are very Halloweenish but I couldn’t find many non-Halloween ones. I bought one last year, but sadly it didn’t last and needed replacing. Here are my options for this year (I ended up going for nr 5). I styled mine with this rug I bought last year, but this one would look great as well.
2. Wreaths – I looove wreaths, I just think that the entrance to our house looks so much more cosy and snug. If you’re not sure how to hang your wreath without nails here’s a link to a wreath hanger.
3. Decor – Just a bunch of random things I want to get for our Halloween party or to decorate the house around Halloween.
